Reports To: Transportation Supervisor

General Responsibility: To assure safe and orderly transportation of district students and staff.

Status: 9-month position; work days and hours will be determined by the Transportation Director and Superintendent.

Payment Rate: Classified Hourly Rate Schedule

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality in matters of student and staff personnel information, and in the general business of the office operations.
• Must have current Wyoming Commercial driver license with an endorsement for Passenger and Air Brakes.
• Must be able to pass an annual DOT examination.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to perform all duties as listed below.
• Complete Criminal Justice Fingerprinting and Background Clearance

Duties Shall Include But Are Not Limited To:

1. Safely Drive assigned routes, trips, etc.
2. Maintain discipline in the buses in accordance with accepted district standards.
3. Maintain bus cleanliness at all times.
4. Subject to all other rules and regulations as specified by the Wyoming Pupil Transportation Manual.
5. Perform such duties as the supervisor may request to ensure efficient operation of school programs to students and staff members of FCSD #6.
6. Must be familiar with routes and locations for traveling to and from sporting events or any other special events.
7. Cooperates with staff, parents, and other district patron inquires with a positive and flexible attitude.
8. To support the district Mission, Vision, Operating Principals, Goals for improvement in student learning
9. Uphold district policies and procedures
10. Engage in continuous professional growth

Work Days: Work days and hours will be determined by the Transportation Supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

Occasionally requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull or push heavy objects or materials, stooping, bending and reaching, climbing stairs and use a small step ladder.
