LST Group is seeking an energetic, highly driven logistics intern for our Chattanooga, TN branch to support our customer service team for summer/fall 2026. You will be responsible for load tracking compliance, document collection, and order entry. You will support our clients' freight transportation goals while delivering outstanding service & communication to LST customers. This internship is ideal for college juniors/seniors working toward a supply chain/logistics/business management degree.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute exceptional service with customers with respect to order needs, pickup and delivery times, any issues in transit or with appointment times, etc.
• Monitor shipment status, proactively communicate updates or delays, and resolve any service-related issues.
• Ensure load tracking compliance on all shipments
• Work closely with carrier partners to ensure capacity, compliance, and performance standards.
• Analyze client needs and offer tailored logistics solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry for all orders, load details, client information, and shipment updates into TMS and internal databases as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in or recently completed post-graduate education.
• Strong interest in transportation and logistics
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to work 30-39.5 hours per week
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships.
