About This Role

The NC Pre-K Lead Teacher is responsible for providing a high-quality, developmentally apppropriate learning environment for pre-school-aged children in NC Pre-K Program. The Lead Teacher will plan and implement engaging learning experiences that promote children's social-emotional, cognitive, language, literacy, physical, and creative development while maintaining compliance with NCPre-k, North Carolina Division of Child Development Education, and center policies, and procedures.

The NC Pre-K Lead Teacher is expected to demonstrate a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and high quailty early learning experience. Requirements

Candidates must meet the current education, licensure, and eligibility requirements established for NC Pre-K Lead Teacher.

• Bachelor's degree in Birth-Kindergarten Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development or another related field.
• Birth-Kindergarten teaching license or eligibility/progress toward required licensure when applicable.
