Requirements
Licensure: Must hold a valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) certification in the state of Missouri.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with EMR systems (SoftDent experience is a major plus) and medical imaging.
Clinical Knowledge: Strong grasp of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control.
Soft Skills: A compassionate communicator who enjoys working with diverse populations, including children.
Job Description
Clinical Excellence: Perform comprehensive cleanings (scaling and polishing) and conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and vital signs.
Imaging & Diagnostics: Take and interpret high-quality X-rays using proper radiation safety and aseptic techniques.
Specialty Support: Assist with chairside procedures in both general and pediatric dentistry settings.
Patient Education: Empower patients with the knowledge they need for better oral hygiene and preventive care.
Documentation: Maintain precise electronic medical records (EMR) using SoftDent.
Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques.
