Registered Nurse - OR

Working days are Monday through Friday with a total of 40 hours each week. Shifts are 8 hours long, with approximately two call days per week. Call may end at either 5 PM or 9 PM.

This is a 13-week contract position.

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding surgical processes and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other team members to meet patient care needs.
• Maintain sterile techniques and protocols during all surgical procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room.
• Active RN license and certifications relevant to the specialty.
• Prior travel experience is preferred but not required.
