Sigma Dashboard Developer

Salary: $101,920 - 124,800 per year Requirements:

• Experience with Sigma Computing, including workbook development, input tables, data exploration, and publishing
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, window functions, CTEs, and aggregations, with Databricks and Delta Tables
• Data modeling knowledge, including facts, dimensions, summary and semantic layers, grain, and lineage
• Familiarity with dbt and Python or PySpark is preferred
• Knowledge of data governance practices such as column-level security, row-level access control, and audit logging is preferred

• Design, develop, and publish production-grade Sigma workbooks and dashboards that meet business needs for accuracy, usability, and performance
• Work with Databricks data models, query Delta Tables, and write optimized SQL
• Build and refine data models and semantic layers, defining metrics, dimensions, aggregations, and business logic
• Translate requirements from senior stakeholders and business analysts into intuitive, self-service dashboards
• Validate dashboard data against source systems and upstream pipelines, documenting and escalating discrepancies
• Partner with data engineering teams to improve pipeline architecture, query performance, and responsiveness at enterprise data volumes

We are hiring a Sigma Dashboard Developer for a six-month contract based onsite in Jersey City, New Jersey, within the financial services and wealth management domain. The role is part of our Enterprise Data & Analytics department and reports to the Analytics Lead. You will help address enterprise scaling challenges by connecting complex data architectures with accessible tools for executive decision-making.
