Here's What You Need

• Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program Required
• Acceptance into THR residency program Required
• LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire Required And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
• A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills and ability to function in a fast-paced environment

What You Will Do

• Collaborates with the care team, performs hourly rounding, monitors patients, and takes action to reduce risks while reporting significant findings.
• Uses nursing models to collect data, individualize care, perform technical procedures safely, and administer medications per guidelines.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and adheres to national safety goals in all aspects of care delivery.
• Sets measurable professional development goals, maintains compliance with policies, and advocates for patients.
• Communicates effectively, recognizes ethical or legal concerns, and takes responsibility for ongoing professional growth.
• Works collaboratively with peers and assistive personnel, participates in teaching, adapts to workload changes, and supports unit needs.
