School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Nicholson, PA

This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide dedicated one-on-one care for a 15-year-old female student who uses a wheelchair and requires g-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator management. You'll play a crucial part in her well-being and school experience, working full time at a single school location.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania LPN or RN license required
• Previous experience in pediatric, school, or 1:1 care preferred
• Comfortable with g-tube feedings, tracheostomy care, and ventilator support
• Compassionate communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and reliably during school hours
• Reliable transportation; ability to assist with transportation is a strong plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous 1:1 nursing support throughout the school day
• Oversee g-tube nutrition, trache care, and ventilator management
• Monitor and promptly respond to changes in student's health status
• Document care and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
• Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and district health professionals
• Support transportation needs if part of the assignment

Position Details:

• Full time: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am 2:30 pm; transportation role 7:15 am 3:15 pm
• Single school assignment, ensuring continuity of care
• Immediate start available; ongoing assignment based on school year
