About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Psychiatric Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 12 months in inpatient rehab setting License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, CPI Must-Have: Experience with COWS and CIWA. Detox experience is required. Description: This position is for an inpatient substance abuse treatment facility for adults aged 18 and over. Candidates must be able to administer CIWA/COWS assessments and perform UAs. The ability to set and hold firm empathic boundaries is essential. The facility has 50 beds, with 20 designated for female patients and 30 for male patients. All patients are voluntary, and no restraints are utilized. An administrator and physician are on call at all times. There is no on-site security at the facility. Visiting hours are scheduled on Sundays from 1 PM to 4 PM. Training will consist of 2-3 days of 12-hour shifts until the candidate feels comfortable.
