DescriptionKforce's client, a well-established and growing professional services firm, seeks an experienced Tax Senior. The Tax Senior work alongside a seasoned team of CPAs and accountants in a collaborative environment. They will take a lead role on tax engagements, mentor staff, and build/maintain relationships with clients.Responsibilities:* Prepare/review Individual (Form 1040), Partnership (Form 1065), Corporate (Form 1120 and 1120S) and Trust (Form 1041) Income Tax Returns* Ensure timely filing of all client-related tax returns* Advise clients that include small businesses, individuals, trusts/estates* Research and draft memorandum involving complex tax matters* Identify and implement tax planning opportunities for clients* Work with staff to develop tax competencies and align on best practices* Present on technical topic(s) for staff training* Respond to federal and state tax notices received by clientRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field* CPA/MST preferred* 3+ years tax experience* Experience with individual, partnership, corporate and trust tax returns* Strong technical skills pertaining to tax preparation and review, tax compliance, agency correspondence and tax research* Familiarity with UltraTax CS is a plusJob TypeDirect HireCompensation115000 - $135000
