SOC Analyst II

Piper Companies is looking to fill the role of SOC Analyst II for a Cloud and Technology company located in Fulton, MD. The SOC Analyst II will focus on Tier 2 security Monitoring along with hands‑on experience utilizing Splunk and AWS. SOC Analyst II requires time in-office 2 days per week in Fulton, MD. Responsibilities of the SOC Analyst II Include: Analyze and respond to security alerts. Preform incident investigations and elevate as needed. Monitor and secure AWS environments. Use Tenable, defender, and AWS for vulnerability and configuration management. Qualifications for the SOC Analyst II Include: Must have secret Clearence Proficient in Splunk, including but not limited to reviewing, analyzing, and reacting to alerts AWS experience and cloud security Tier 2 Skills Compensation for the SOC Analyst II include: $108,000-$125,000 Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick leave if required by law, and Holidays This job opens for applications on June 25, 2026.
