Responsibilities:

  • Promote work orders from MRP system to ensure timely release and completion of components in line with production planning requirements
  • Review and process required MRP exception messages
  • Maintain schedule, perform risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path issues and network logic conflicts.
  • Implement and maintain Kanban processes
  • Collaborate with Program Management and Contracts to understand demand forecast drivers
  • Provide input in developing departmental strategies for inventory on existing items, new product introduction and phase outs
  • Perform related inventory transactions into ERP system
  • Work with demand forecasting, incorporating current and accurate information
  • Execute excellence around stock and demand replenishment providing feedback to the supply chain on risks regarding replenishment levels and demand.
  • Plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting performance against baseline schedules to ensure that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience in a planning/scheduling role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • MRP Experience a MUST.
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Office competencies.
  • Experience in statistical reporting, forecasting, and understanding of financial and operational impacts of forecasting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Problem-solving under constraints
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams

Salary: $64,000 - $97,400 plus bonuses
