Step into a vital role supporting K–12 students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist during a rewarding school year contract near Detroit, MI. Work with a diverse student population and collaborate with dedicated educators and families to nurture communication development and academic achievement.

Leverage your specialized SLP skills, whether you’re an experienced clinician or currently completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), to provide assessment, intervention, and advocacy for children with a wide range of speech and language challenges. You’ll enjoy a consistent weekday schedule—32.5 hours across 5 days—ensuring work-life balance while making a meaningful difference in students’ lives.

Qualifications:

• Current, valid SLP credentials/certification (CCC or CFY accepted)
• Experience supporting K–12 students preferred; Pediatric or school-based backgrounds highly valued
• Knowledge of school-based IEP processes and speech-language intervention techniques
• Collaborative spirit to partner with educators, families, and other service providers
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
• Deliver direct therapy to students in both group and individual settings
• Maintain documentation, progress reports, and data per school and district standards
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to share strategies and maximize student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and student support teams
