Job Position: Assembler
Location: Matteson, IL 60443
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Shift: Crew B
Description: Key Responsibilities
Assemble battery modules, packs, and related components according to work instructions and engineering specificationsPerform mechanical and basic electrical assembly tasks (wiring, fastening, component placement)
Operate production tools, machinery, and testing equipment safely and efficiently
Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality and compliance with standards
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and production schedules
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Record production data and report defects, issues, or inconsistencies
Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel Qualifications 1+ year of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
Ability to read and follow SOPs
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35–50 lbs
Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment Work Environment & Schedule Manufacturing/production facility supporting battery systems for data centers
Exposure to production equipment, materials, and moderate noise levels
Required use of PPE
12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule 8PM - 8AM
4 days on / 4 days off rotation
Schedule includes weekends and holidays as part of the rotation
Overtime may be required based on production demands Company Description
