PMO Project Manager

Role Summary


Experienced Project Manager required to lead a complex enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA enhancement programme involving core business applications, multiple integrated systems, business processes, vendors, and stakeholders. The successful candidate will provide project governance, integrated planning, risk management, resource coordination, budget oversight, and executive-level communication across multiple concurrent workstreams.


Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple IT projects and coordinate internal and external project resources.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and critical path tracking.
• Establish project governance, escalation paths, decision-making processes, and reporting structures.
• Manage project budgets, cost estimates, resource forecasting, and capacity planning.
• Coordinate project delivery with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and system integrator project managers.
• Oversee project lifecycle activities including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
• Manage project documentation, sign-offs, deliverables, and PMO artefacts.
• Identify, mitigate, and communicate project risks, issues, and dependencies.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience across projects of varying size and complexity.
• Proven experience managing integration, scope, schedule, communication, vendor, and risk management activities.
• Strong experience managing high-profile vendors across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Experience leading Enterprise Business Solutions projects, specifically SAP/ERP initiatives.
• Experience managing large-scale multi-year programmes.
• Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Project and/or Microsoft Project Online, including integrated project planning.
• Strong leadership, conflict management, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• PMP Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in complex cloud-based SAP environments.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and enterprise integrations involving HR, finance, document management, analytics, and asset management platforms.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
• Experience coordinating multiple cross-functional workstreams within a PMO framework.
