Registered Nurse - Med Surg

This position requires a 12-hour night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a schedule varying within the 12x3 model.

The Registered Nurse for Med Surg will provide high-quality patient care in an acute medical setting. The role demands recent experience within the specialty to effectively manage patient outcomes and demonstrate comprehensive nursing skills.

Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.

Monitor and document patient status, and communicate changes to the healthcare team.

Support patients and families with education, resources, and referrals.

Minimum of several years of recent experience in Med Surg nursing.

Current AHA BLS certification.

Valid RN license in the state of practice.

Candidates must be willing to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).

This is a 13-week contract position.
