OR Surgical TechThe Surgical Technician is responsible for assisting in surgical procedures. They prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready. They maintain a sterile environment before, during, and after surgery. The technician collaborates with surgeons and other healthcare staff. They assist with the positioning of patients and handle instruments. Attention to detail is essential to ensure patient safety. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills are necessary for coordinating with the surgical team. All health assessments and vaccinations must be current. Compliance with all health and safety regulations is mandatory. The technician must complete all required evaluations and exams.
