Patient Care Call Center Representative

$15 - $17 per hour

Overview Scope of Responsibilities: Demonstrates skillset and knowledge of Kinney Drugs retail pharmacy resources within their respective platforms to effectively answer and document patient‑related inquiries, complete patient updates, and service patient and store requests accurately and efficiently. Job Summary Entry‑level position. Works under direct supervision following standard procedures and best practices to accomplish assigned tasks and receive job training. Assists staff members in completing daily duties and handles incoming and outbound calls independently. Provides support as needed to peers, leaders, and other Kinney Drugs administrative resources. Responsibilities Patient Care Center phone coverage for incoming calls, outbound calls, and directing incoming calls to appropriate locations (i.e., stores). Understand, master, and work efficiently in systems leveraged by the Patient Care Center. Provide Patient Care Center resolution of patient service questions and issues to ensure complete patient satisfaction. Participate and support the augmentation of training and development efforts of our Pharmacies. Have intermediate understanding of pharmacy technology and workflow processes, including product dispensing, data entry, and adjudication workflow steps. Comply with all state and federal regulations and company operational policies related to conditions of employment. Learn and understand specific aspects of the pharmacy management system (i.e., reception and release to patient queues). Follow instructions and complete tasks with a sense of urgency, maintaining daily department standards. Focus on quality by embracing the Quality Assurance Policy & Procedures and all patient care programs and initiatives. Act with integrity and maintain confidentiality regarding all patient information in compliance with HIPAA standards. Participate in additional pharmacy service‑related projects as needed. Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience & Qualifications Preferred: 0-2 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician or Customer Service Representative in a healthcare‑related service. Educational Requirements Minimum: High School Diploma or GED. Special Conditions Of Employment Drug test. Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring. Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position. Compensation $15.00 - $17.00 an hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education. #J-18808-Ljbffr
