Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical/Telemetry

Schedule:
Shift: 12-hour nights, 18:45-07:15

Assignment Details:
Assignment length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Preferred certification: NIHSS
- Experience with IV starts, telemetry/dysrhythmia recognition and management, non-invasive airway support, and chest tube care

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-acuity nursing care to adult patients in a med-surg/telemetry setting.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.
- Perform and document care, ensuring compliance with protocols.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- RTO: Up to 7 days auto-approved (no holidays); all RTO must be pre-approved.
- Scrubs: White or navy blue required; not provided.
