Field Safety Coordinator

Field Safety Representative
A large concrete construction company is seeking a Field Safety Representative for a direct hire opportunity to support construction operations by fostering a proactive safety culture through training, coaching, field engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives. This individual will work closely with craft labor, subcontractors, general contractors, and project teams to promote safe work practices and support compliance with project safety requirements. They will be onsite Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm.
Responsibilities:
Conduct daily safety activities on active construction sites. Lead morning safety huddles and toolbox talks. Deliver safety training and identify opportunities to improve training effectiveness. Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans. Perform field audits, jobsite inspections, and safety observations. Partner with subcontractors, craft personnel, and general contractor representatives on safety initiatives. Support project inspections and corrective action efforts. Coach employees on safe work practices and help identify root causes of safety concerns. Reinforce company and project safety policies and procedures through education and coaching. Maintain a visible presence in the field and actively communicate safety expectations.
