Job Description

Job Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care and support under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. The CNA assists patients with daily living activities and ensures comfort, safety, and quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
Measure and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration)
Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
Provide emotional support and promote patient comfort and dignity
Follow infection control and safety protocols
Accurately document care provided in patient records
Assist nurses with basic clinical tasks as directed
