A great school district in the **Killeen, Texas** area is now looking to hire multiple Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for the full 2026–2027 school year. These are full-time, school-based opportunities offering 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

The district has openings throughout its K–12 schools and is working toward placing **one SLP and one SLPA per building** to provide close supervision, collaboration, and support. The district is also working to maintain caseloads of approximately 60 students or fewer.

- Provide speech-language therapy and support services to K–12 students within the appropriate scope of practice.
- Assist students with articulation, language, fluency, and other communication needs.
- Implement individualized therapy plans and support student IEP goals.
- Collaborate with SLPs, SLPAs, teachers, families, and other educational professionals.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate therapy documentation.
- Participate in IEP/ARD meetings as appropriate to the position and licensure.
- SLPs will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide supervision to SLPAs as required.
- SLPAs will provide therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed SLP.

- Previous school-based or pediatric speech-language experience preferred.
- Experience working with K–12 students is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Comfortable supporting students with a variety of speech and language needs.

- Active Texas SLP or SLPA license required.
- SLP candidates must meet Texas educational and licensing requirements for Speech-Language Pathologists.
- SLPA candidates must meet Texas educational and licensing requirements for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.
- Must meet all applicable state and district requirements for school-based practice.
