Location: The Pet Clinic – Chula Vista, Otay
Position Type: Full-Time

What You Will Do

First impressions: Greet clients and their furry, feathered, or scaled family members with genuine warmth.
Air traffic control: Manage multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and triage urgent calls like a pro.
The paperwork: Handle check-ins, check-outs, medical records, and payments accurately. Reconcile end of day sales.
Comfort provider: Offer a calming presence to anxious pets and worried owners during stressful moments.
Clinic cheerleader: Keep the lobby clean, organized, welcoming, and stocked with treats.
Wing person: Work with veterinarian/owner to keep efficient.

Who You Are

A people person: You possess elite communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
A chaos coordinator: You stay cool, calm, and collected when the phones are ringing and the lobby is full. You can keep phone calls to 3 mins or less.
A tech-savvy learner: You pick up practice management software quickly (experience with Shepherd software is a huge plus!).
A resilient caregiver: You can handle the emotional highs and lows of veterinary medicine with empathy.
An animal lover: Professional experience is great, but a passion for animal health is mandatory.
