Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Registered Nurse – Critical Care

Schedule: 12-hour Night Shifts; 1900-0730 x3 shifts per week Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend Required Holiday Requirements: Based on Unit Needs; will be needed to work on certain holidays.

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: Per week

Requirements: - KS RN or Compact RN License - BLS, ACLS, & NIHF Certification - Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Critical Care/Intensive Care Unit - Experience with CRRT, Bipaps, drawing own labs, chest tubes, and PICC lines - Must be comfortable conducting own codes and handling own consults - Open heart experience on day 1 with pacer wires

Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care in a Critical Care setting. - Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and adjust care plans. - Perform complex medical procedures such as CRRT and chest tube management. - Educate patients and families on treatments and procedures. - Respond promptly to emergency situations and conduct codes as needed.

Compliance / Notes: - All clinicians are asked not to request time off during high-demand periods. - Orientation includes training at a partner facility and virtual Epic training. - The facility is a nicotine-free environment. - Bi-weekly pay periods are observed. - The client may cancel one shift per 2-week pay period without cost.
