Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP) Pay Rate: 17.85 Direct Support Professionals are passionate individuals who help others achieve independence and improve the quality of life. Our organization provides purpose, passion, and opportunities for growth. What You’ll Do Support individuals with developmental disabilities in living their best, most independent lives. Encourage communication, personal growth, and celebrate each person’s unique strengths. Plan and participate in recreational activities, such as karaoke and game nights. Serve as a positive role model, mentor, and cheerleader. Keep Things Organized Complete required documentation accurately and on time. Assist with finances, purchases, and ensuring funds are properly tracked. Health & Happiness Support medication administration, medical appointments, and emotional well‑being. Prepare meals and assist with personal hygiene and daily care needs. Safety Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment. Follow safety procedures, including transportation safety and emergency protocols. Build strong relationships with individuals, families, coworkers, and the community. Attend trainings and meetings and contribute positively to the team. What You’ll Need High school diploma or equivalent. A big heart and a passion for helping others. Basic communication, math, and money‑handling skills. Valid driver’s license or state ID.
