Executive Director, Head of Procurement

Revolution Medicines seeks an Executive Director to lead its enterprise procurement function, reporting to the VP of Finance and Controller. This role involves developing procurement strategy, managing suppliers, overseeing operations, and scaling the function to support growth across R&D, clinical, manufacturing, commercial, and corporate divisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide procurement strategy aligned with clinical, manufacturing, and commercial objectives
• Lead maturation of procurement operating model, governance frameworks, and supplier management programs
• Advise executive leadership on supplier strategy, risk mitigation, and operational scalability
• Enhance policies, procedures, and approval processes to improve efficiency and support organizational growth
• Position procurement as trusted business partner across sourcing and spend management decisions

Requirements

• Deep expertise in procurement operations and strategic sourcing
• Proven experience in supplier governance and process improvement
• Background in biotechnology or pharmaceutical procurement
• Leadership experience in procurement transformation initiatives
• Track record scaling procurement capabilities in growth-oriented companies
