Quick Facts

- Shift: 24-hour shifts, preference for weekdays
- Hours/Week: Variable, approximately 2-3 shifts per month
- Employment Type: Locum/Travel
- Licenses/Certifications: OB/GBMS or AOA board-certified
- Experience: Comfortable working with Midwives, VBACs, and C-sections
- Additional Notes: 16 labor/delivery/postpartum rooms, dedicated OB OR, Epic experience preferred
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (rate discussed upon application)

- Provide OB/GYN care during 24-hour laborist shifts
- Attend and manage deliveries, including VBACs and C-sections
- Collaborate with midwives and other medical professionals
- Ensure patient safety and quality care in a busy birthing unit
- Document care using Epic electronic health record system
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and standards
- Participate in on-call responsibilities and emergency procedures
- Valid OB/GBMS or AOA board certification
- Experience with labor and delivery, postpartum care, and surgical procedures
- Comfort working with midwives, VBACs, and c-sections
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
