Chemical Operator I

1st Shift Chemical OperatorThe 1st Shift Chemical Operator (6AM - 2:30PM) position creates chemical blends (Blending) in accordance with customer specifications. Assists in other areas of the plant as needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Follow all established procedures and abide by all safety and quality guidelines.(Blending)Duties include:Verifies the tank to be used for the chemical blend.Follow all instructions on the blending sheet to create the chemical blend.Connect all proper hoses to tanks and pumps.On each blending sheet, employees record the lot number and amount of each additive used.Presents the blend sheet to the lab when finished.
