About This Role The Clinical Manager RN, STAR+PLUS provides oversight and direction to the service coordination staff, identifying process improvements to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services for Star+Plus members. This role is ideal for experienced nursing professionals with a strong background in managed care and leadership. Highlights Location: El Paso, TX Department/Unit: Service Coordination Schedule: Full Time, Day shift Work Style: Remote for those within a commutable distance of El Paso Pay: $91,700 - $163,700 annually What You'll Do Provide supervision and oversight of service coordination staff Participate in interdepartmental meetings to represent service coordination needs Facilitate orientation and training of service coordination staff Establish goals for performance standards of service coordinators Provide ongoing training and development of service coordination staff Identify problems/barriers/opportunities for intervention and provide resolutions Provide analysis and reporting to ensure compliance with standards Manage field staff productivity goals, member satisfaction, and outcomes measures Conduct ride-along and telephonic auditing for staff evaluation Develop and maintain corrective action plans as identified Requirements Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Experience: 7+ years of experience in healthcare 2+ years of experience in managed care 3+ years of management or supervisory experience in managed care Licenses & Certifications: Current unrestricted RN license in Texas required Driver's license and access to reliable transportation required Benefits Comprehensive benefits package Incentive and recognition programs Equity stock purchase and 401k contribution About UnitedHealth Group UnitedHealth Group is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
