Job Summary:

We are looking for a CNC / Machine Shop Operator to join our team. This is a hands-on position working in a busy machine shop environment. The ideal candidate has some CNC or fabrication experience and is comfortable operating shop equipment.

You do NOT need to be a machinist for this position. We are looking for someone who has experience with CNC equipment, understands basic measurements and setups, and is willing to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC and other machine shop equipment.
• Drill holes in steel and other materials according to specifications.
• Set up and operate a press brake to form and bend material.
• Set up and operate a laser cutting machine.
• Read basic shop drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
• Load and position material safely.
• Make basic machine adjustments and verify finished parts.
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and other shop measuring equipment.
• Inspect parts for accuracy and quality.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Work with the production team to keep jobs moving and meet production schedules.

• Ability to stand and work for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials in a manufacturing environment.
