Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Residential Real Estate Appraiser role located in Vancouver, WA. The appraiser will conduct interior and exterior property inspections, gather and verify property data, and analyze comparable sales to develop well-supported value opinions. Daily responsibilities include preparing USPAP-compliant appraisal reports, interpreting market trends, and communicating findings clearly to clients and internal stakeholders. The role involves coordinating appointments, meeting report deadlines, maintaining accurate records, and staying current on local market conditions and regulatory requirements. The appraiser will collaborate with team members to ensure quality control, consistency, and adherence to company policies. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Real Estate Appraisal and Appraising skills, with experience in residential property valuation. Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Residential Real Estate markets, including local Vancouver, WA neighborhood and market dynamics. Candidates should possess familiarity with USPAP standards and demonstrated ability to produce compliant appraisal reports. Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills for interpreting market data, assessing property characteristics, and supporting value conclusions. State-certified or licensed Residential Real Estate Appraiser credentials (or eligibility to obtain) are strongly preferred. Proficiency with appraisal software, MLS systems, and standard office productivity tools is beneficial. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines are important.
