Respiratory Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic respiratory care team. In this role, you will provide high-quality respiratory therapy for patients of all ages, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' respiratory conditions and needs.
- Administer therapeutic treatments including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and ventilator management.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and ensure the best possible care.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques, equipment, and safety.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments and treatments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow safety and regulatory protocols.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Ohio Respiratory Care License.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred.
- Prior clinical experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
