Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team. This role collaborates with internal cross-functional teams and global manufacturing partners to execute production requirements in alignment with sales, inventory, and financial goals.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring product flows efficiently from concept to customer across a diverse retail landscape—including replenishment, make-to-order, and direct-to-consumer channels.

Key Responsibilities

*Plan and schedule production purchase orders for assigned brands to support sales and inventory objectives.

*Manage production timelines with overseas factories, balancing lead times, cost efficiency, and service expectations.

*Partner with the Forecast Team to evaluate demand shifts, market trends, and proactively adjust production strategies.

*Collaborate with the Sourcing Team to align production needs with manufacturing capabilities.

*Work closely with the Packaging Team to ensure accurate and timely communication of packaging requirements to factories.

*Coordinate with Distribution Center teams on inbound production timing, quality, and packaging issues; drive resolution with cross-functional partners.

*Issue and manage work orders to repurpose excess or discontinued inventory.

*Maintain supply planning systems and ensure data accuracy to support operational efficiency.

*Develop and deliver reporting and analysis to support business decisions across departments.

Qualifications & Experience

*Bachelor’s degree required.

*4–6 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or related field within a U.S. retail environment.

*Experience supporting Amazon or other e-commerce production channels strongly preferred.

*Experience with supply chain systems (ERP, planning tools, etc.).

*Skills & Abilities

*Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a data-driven mindset.

*Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

*Advanced proficiency in Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.

*Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

*Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.

*Strong computer proficiency and systems aptitude.
