Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of inpatient rehab or acute care experience for a 13-week hospital assignment.

Details

• Hospital-based Physical Therapy position
• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 8-hour day shifts
• Every other weekend availability required (typically one weekend per month)
• Must be available to work one holiday if needed

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of inpatient rehab or acute care Physical Therapy experience required
• Degree in Physical Therapy required
• PT License required (license required if applicable)
• State licensure required with active status, no pending licenses accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• First Aid certification preferred
• Crisis Prevention Training (TEAM) required within 6 months of hire
• Primary Source Online Verification required
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Additional Information

• Serve as part of an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive physical therapy services
• Perform detailed clinical assessments based on individual patient needs following physician referral
• Develop comprehensive, age-appropriate plans of care based on evaluation findings
• Accurately and appropriately document patient treatment
• Must be able to respond effectively to new and changing work assignments
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
