Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Schedule: 4x12 E/N Rotation, Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 48

Requirements:

Current or temporary RN license in the state or compact RN licensure (no license hits allowed)
ACLS certification

Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition.
Administer medications, vasoactive infusions, blood products, and advanced therapies in accordance with ICU protocols and individualized care plans.
Assist physicians with complex procedures, manage ventilators and invasive lines, and ensure accurate interpretation and documentation of clinical data.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and ICU processes to support understanding during high-stress situations.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care and plan interventions.
Maintain meticulous documentation and participate in unit-based safety, quality, and performance-improvement activities.
