Quality Technician

We're looking for a Quality Technician to join a growing manufacturing team where you'll play a critical role in ensuring products meet strict quality standards before they reach customers.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with inspection experience who enjoys working with precision measuring instruments, interpreting blueprints, and being a key part of the quality process.Why You'll Want This Job1st Shift ScheduleConsistent 45-hour workweekOvertime opportunities availableSafety, production, and quality-based bonus programClean, organized manufacturing facilityStable company with long-term career opportunitiesCompany-provided safety gear and uniformsWhat You'll DoPerform inspections throughout the manufacturing process to verify product quality.Conduct dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.Complete non-destructive testing and quality evaluations according to established procedures.Review and interpret manufacturing drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.Document inspection findings and maintain accurate quality records and reports.Inspect incoming customer materials and components to determine processing requirements.Identify and report non-conforming materials or products.Support assembly and production teams with quality inspections and troubleshooting.Utilize computer systems to enter inspection results and maintain records.Collaborate with production personnel to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.QualificationsExperience in quality control, quality assurance, or manufacturing inspections.Ability to use precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Experience documenting inspection results and maintaining quality records.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with non-destructive testing methods.Experience inspecting metal or machined components.Familiarity with ERP systems or manufacturing software.Previous experience in a machine shop or industrial manufacturing environment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of VALPARAISO, IN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $55000.00/yr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.medical, dental, 401K and vision.
