Job Overview We are looking for an experienced advanced practice provider to work in the stepdown unit, supporting patients transitioning from the Cardiac Surgery ICU to the step-down setting. Job Highlights Provide clinical care to patients transitioning from the Cardiac Surgery ICU to the step-down setting. Evaluate and develop plans of care for new patient consults. Conduct detailed assessments and monitor/evaluate cardiac status. Manage patients through the pre‑ and post‑operative period, initiating or refining medical management. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, care coordination, discharge planning, and education. Perform chest tube and pacing wire removal, wound care, and other procedural tasks. Shift Details Anticipate (3) 12–13 hour shifts per week with a weekend rotation of 1:5 and a holiday rotation. No call and no nights. Qualifications Cardiothoracic surgery experience. ICU experience is a plus. Certified Nurse Practitioner must be Acute Care Certified, or a Certified Physician Assistant. #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential
