ABL Relationship Manager (originations)

We are looking to expand our Asset Based Lending team, looking for a seasoned Relationship Manager focusing on Asset Based Lending originations. Responsibilities include all phases of relationship marketing and management. This position examines, evaluates, and authorizes or recommends approval of customer applications for commercial loans by performing the following duties. Develop relationships with middle market/commercial customersManage and maintain existing customer relationshipsNegotiates approved terms and conditions with borrowersAcquires qualified referrals from existing clients and investorsCross sells other Bank products and servicesAdminister existing loan portfoliosExtensive relationship managementAnalyze financial statements, perform underwriting dutiesBuild successful relationships with retail banking partnersIdentifies and analyzes potential loan markets to develop prospects for commercial loans.Advises loan manager of external factors that may affect establishment lending policies, such as new or revised legislation and regulations. Recommends and implements appropriate changes to establishment policies and procedures.Manages and leads team of relationship managers and support staff.Other duties as need by senior management15+ years of experience in Asset Based Lending, commercial lending, and Banking.Bachelor's degree in banking, finance or other related field.Minimum of 10 years of direct portfolio management experienceStrong background in FinanceStrong knowledge base in Treasury, FX and Derivative productsDemonstrated abilities in coordinating the resources of the back office to bring effective full service solutions to the companyProven sales track record and strong negotiation skills.
