Position Summary:
Mill brook Building & Remodeling, Inc. is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable professional
for the Entry Level Office Engineer | Office Support professional. Core responsibilities are (Office Support and
Documentation). You will be required to assist both the Office Manager and Office Engineer with project
documentation, drawing updates, bids and internal communication with the project management team. Its the
backbone role that keeps construction projects coordinated and compliant.
Responsibilities:
Communication Coordination: Phones & Messages, Calendars, Meeting Minutes, Email
Document Control: Organize drawings, specs, addenda, revisions, meeting minutes, and
correspondenceboth digital and hard copy. Ensure everything is retrievable and audit-ready.
Support Contract Administration: Help prepare change orders, maintain logs, track cost/schedule
impacts, and subcontractor/vendor documentation.
Setup Project Tracking Logs: (Requires Excel Experience)
Assist with Setting up Project Manuals and As-Builts & Closeout Packages: Track redlines, gather
documentation, and assemble turnover packages for owners.
BABAA: Understand BABAA Project Compliance and assist with documentation
Bid Documentation: Entire Preparation Process
Will learn the process of:
Submittal Management Log, distribute, track, and follow up on shop drawings, product data, and
samples.
RFIs (Requests for Information) Receive questions from the field, route them to designers/engineers,
track responses, and distribute answers.
Skills:
Microsoft 365 Excel, Word, and PDF markup tools.
Excellent math skills and better than average utilization of excel formulas
Construction drawings & specifications, literacy
Organization and attention to detail
Basic scheduling concepts (CPM)
Experience:
Tech School
Internship in Construction (Office or Field)
2 year degree in Construction (Business or Architecture)
Compensation & Schedule:
Salary Range: $36,000 - $64,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule: Full-Time, In-House Position
Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (This is not a remote position)
