Medical Assistant Job duties include :
Medical Assistant Job duties include :
- Taking patient vital signs to be reported to your supervising provider
- Using Athena EMR to track patient complains and histories to ensure optimal long-term care
- Performing diagnostic tests
- Administer immunizations to ensure optimal preventative care
- Following up with patients and their requests via phone
- Triaging patients experiencing medical emergencies
- Discussing medications and their effects with patients under provider supervision
- Other duties as assigned
- Must possess strong clinical as well as customer service skills
- Strong technology aptitude
- Prior experience in the field is required
- Endocrinology or Family Medicine experience preferred
- Prior experience with CGM's preferred
