Job Summary:

Dishwashers are responsible for ensuring tables are clean. They will have to clear plates, utensils, and drinkware from tables, and take items to the kitchen to be washed and cleaned. Dishwashers are responsible for ensuring all kitchen utensils are clean, ready to use, and stored safely and efficiently. These positions are also required to reset tables for the next guests, ensure the floor is clear of debris and clean, and assist waitstaff by restocking dry goods, such as napkins and straws. 

Qualifications: 

• Friendly, upbeat attitude, and the ability to multi-task. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required 
• Exemplifies the company’s core values   
• Ensures optimum guest experience   
• Holds team accountable for quality, consistency, and upkeep of sanitization standards as set forth by company and state regulations    
• Practices an ownership mentality with an emphasis in motivation and teamwork   
• Maintains highest levels of quality & presentation  
• Creates and maintains a welcoming environment by smiling and keeping a tidy workspace  
• Restocks supplies when needed, and during slow operational hours 
• Communicate any and all issues with food service or dining to a manager or lead   

  Safety:   

• Ensures areas are free from hazards that would potentially injure staff or guests    
• Addresses and immediately corrects any practices that lower safety standards  

Education and/or Experience:   

• Restaurant experience is not required  
• Ability and willingness to eventually learn all stations on the line  
• Ability to keep calm under pressure  
• Ability to multi-task  

  Additional Requirements:

• Position requires consistent activity, such as walking, bending and lifting
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends
• Employment may require background check
• Dishwashers MUST be 18 years or older
