This position is located CONUS - Charlotte, NC Across The Mid Atlantic Region supporting the The City of Charlottes mission of ensuring the delivery of quality public services and promote the safety, health, and quality of life of its citizens with Translation, Transcription, and Interpretation services.

Seeking French (African) Transcription Specialist candidates with relevant Government And Public Services Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Government And Public Services Sector Clients such as CLT. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Transcription Services Functional Area - Transcription Services Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

• Convert spoken French (African dialects) audio into written format with accuracy. Ensure transcripts follow formatting requirements. Edit and proofread transcriptions. Maintain confidentiality of information.

Qualifications

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, or related field preferred. 2+ years in transcription services.

Skills Required

• Excellent listening skills, typing speed of at least 60 WPM, familiarity with transcription software.

Competencies Required

• Attention to detail, cultural sensitivity, time management, ability to meet deadlines.

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Experience with timestamping and verbatim transcription preferred.

Other Details

• Must sign a confidentiality agreement. Experience in government and legal transcriptions preferred.
