Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct detailed assessments by meeting with clients to evaluate their mental health status, work history, and counseling needs.

  • Develop personalized and effective therapy plans tailored to each client’s specific issues, including but not limited to substance abuse disorders, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.

  • Provide ongoing support through regular sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to empower clients with coping strategies and resources.

  • Facilitate group therapy sessions that foster community and connection among clients facing similar challenges.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care and necessary referrals when indicated.

  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation, ensuring accurate tracking of client progress and confidentiality.

  • Engage in regular professional development workshops and training to stay current with best practices and evolving mental health approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with a diverse range of clients, including those battling substance abuse challenges, anxiety disorders, depressive conditions, and various mental health issues prevalent in today’s society. You will be responsible for offering culturally responsive therapy, adapting your methods to meet the unique backgrounds and needs of each individual.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • A current and valid state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • \n
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience in the mental health field, demonstrating proficiency with a broad spectrum of mental health disorders.

  • A thorough understanding of evidence-based treatment approaches, along with strong crisis intervention skills to effectively manage challenging situations.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to foster rapport with clients from varied cultural backgrounds.

  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other relevant technology to track and manage client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
