Work Environment\nThis role offers a remote work setting where you will engage with clients through telehealth platforms. You will have the flexibility to create a work environment that suits your needs while being a vital part of a collaborative team dedicated to excellence in mental health care. Our team operates within designated hours of Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with an expectation of occasional evening or weekend shifts on a rotational basis to accommodate our patients' needs.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms. \n
- Collaborate with each client to create an individualized treatment plan focused on their unique needs and treatment goals. \n
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively. \n
- Offer education and support to both clients and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices. \n
- Monitor clients' progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize clinical outcomes. \n
- Coordinate care with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to enhance the effectiveness of treatment provided. \n
- Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in treating mood disorders, integrating new methodologies where appropriate. \n
- Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment strategies in compliance with ethical and legal standards. \n
- Participate in interdisciplinary case consultations, regular team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical expertise. \n
- Advocate for clients, working to de-stigmatize mood disorders and ensure their mental health needs are fully addressed. \n
The primary focus of this role is on individuals dealing with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will be working with a diverse clientele, each with unique backgrounds and challenges, which requires a high level of empathy, cultural competence, and professional understanding.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts is mandatory. \n
- A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience treating mood disorders is preferred. \n
- Strong proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). \n
- A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and collaboration techniques with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams. \n
- Outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds. \n

- Demonstrated success in achieving positive treatment outcomes and case management in mood disorder interventions. \n
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems to streamline documentation and communication processes. \n
- Experience engaging in community outreach efforts to raise awareness about mental health issues. \n
