We improve the health of our communities and make a difference in people’s lives. You Will Evaluate and treat clinic patients in accordance with standards of care. Follow levels of medical care and quality for patients and monitor care using available data and chart reviews. Assist in the coordination of patient services, leveraging internal capabilities and, as needed, referring to network resources. Act as an active participant and key source of medical expertise with the care team through daily huddles. Set a tone of cooperation in practice by displaying a professional and approachable demeanor. Complete all medical record documentation in a timely manner. Follow policy and protocol defined by Clinical Leadership and BCBSAZ. Meet with other departments to discuss quality of care, outcome data, policy, procedure, and records issues. Participate in potential growth opportunities for new or existing services. Assure personal compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting bodies. Build relationships with other healthcare providers, social/community organizations, and marketing partners. Work extended hours as necessary. This position requires 100% on-site work at the care center location and may also involve movement between clinics as needed. Perform all other duties as assigned. You Have Current and unrestricted Arizona medical license. Graduated from an accredited MD or DO program. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated a high level of skill with interpersonal relationships and communications with colleagues/patients. Fully engaged in the concept of an "Integrated team-based care" model. A willingness and ability to learn/adapt to practice in a value-based care setting. Superior patient/customer service skills. Basic computer skills. BLS certification. Active AZ fingerprint clearance card. Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.
