Advanced Infusion RN | PICC Specialist

Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in outpatient infusion therapy. This role requires a compassionate professional skilled in IV therapy, venipuncture, and central venous access devices, including proficiency in PICC and Midline placement.
Job Summary As an infusion RN, you will provide expert nursing care to a diverse outpatient population, utilizing critical thinking and sound judgment to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care. You will collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure continuity and excellence in treatment. Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments following approved nursing protocols.
- Document patient care accurately, including medications, vital signs, and intake/output.
- Assist providers with patient examinations and treatment preparations.
- Maintain compliance with nursing practice regulations and legal requirements.
- Participate in orientation, staff meetings, and ongoing training to foster teamwork and professional growth.
- Adapt to changes in the work environment and contribute constructively to team efforts.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current and unrestricted nursing license in Washington State.
- Certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of nursing procedures and outpatient care principles.
- Ability to apply age-specific growth and development principles to patient care.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications.
- Commitment to patient privacy and safety in accordance with HIPAA standards.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements This position involves 10-hour shifts with variable days and rotating weekend coverage. Physical demands include occasional lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds, standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
