Armed Program Director - All Shifts

Program Director reports directly to the General Manager and oversees Armed & Unarmed Security Officers. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, and can manage both client relationships and on‑site teams effectively. Responsibilities Direct the performance of site personnel across all shifts to ensure operational quality. Ensure compliance with company policies, client expectations, and regulatory standards. Serve as the primary point of contact for the client; conduct regular check‑ins and service reviews, and act as liaison between the client, General Manager, and site teams. Conduct routine inspections and quality checks across multiple posts and shifts to maintain property security and tenant/visitor safety; correct deficiencies immediately and escalates issues when necessary. Oversee scheduling, timekeeping, and attendance to maintain proper site coverage and operational efficiency. Review reports, logs, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness in accordance with company policy and customer expectations. Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, incidents, and operational issues; provide oversight to supervisory personnel. Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members to ensure accountability and professionalism. Promote a positive client experience by maintaining open communication and proactively resolving concerns. Participate in hiring and ongoing training of site personnel as needed. Enforce company policies and client site procedures consistently and fairly. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and site‑specific policies. Monitor and enforce compliance with uniform/appearance standards and equipment readiness (radios, POP smartphones, flashlights, AEDs). Lead emergency response per site protocols (evacuations, medical emergencies, workplace violence, severe weather). Direct coordination with law enforcement, EMS, and client stakeholders; preserve evidence and scene integrity. Maintain current post orders/SOPs; recommend updates based on lessons learned and client feedback. Monitor documentation and tracking for training, licenses, and certifications to ensure that officers remain fully compliant and job‑ready. Monitor site inventory control (badges, keys, forms, PPE); approve and submit purchase/repair requests. Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives and cost‑effective scheduling. Interact with variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, and respond to after‑hours incidents when needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 5‑10 years of security experience with 4+ years in a supervisory role. Possession of an Armed Security Officer license/permit in accordance with state requirements. Active state security license/guard card or eligibility to obtain before start (California). Valid driver’s license. Ability to pass background, drug screening, and motor vehicle records checks. Supply and maintain a personally owned, approved firearm. Strong written and verbal communication skills, professional customer service demeanor, and conflict resolution and de‑escalation skills. Prior law enforcement, military, or armed security experience is strongly preferred. Proficiency with common security systems (CCTV/VMS, access control/badging) and Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to interact with variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, and respond to after‑hours incidents when needed.
