Travel Nurse RN ED – Emergency Department (Callicoon, New York) We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department travel assignment beginning 07/27/2026 for 13 weeks. The assignment requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts. Specialty: ED – Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Requirements Active RN License Degree from an accredited nursing program BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute‑care emergency room setting Other requirements to be determined by our client facility Responsibilities Emergency Room registered nurses (RN) provide care for patients from various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention and must be able to recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions. Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action. Employ comprehensive knowledge of general and specific health issues that may require urgent treatment and care. Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need. Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
