Aging Independence Network is a community-focused organization dedicated to supporting older adults, caregivers, and families through educational programs, wellness experiences, workforce development, resource navigation, and community connection opportunities throughout Monterey County.

We believe aging well requires more than services alone—it requires community, support, education, and meaningful human connection.

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and community-minded Volunteer Community Partnerships Coordinator to help expand local awareness and strengthen relationships with organizations throughout Monterey County.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, community outreach, relationship-building, and helping connect people to valuable resources and programs.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with local organizations, businesses, and community groups

Conduct outreach to senior centers, nonprofits, libraries, wellness providers, and local businesses

Help identify potential collaboration and sponsorship opportunities

Assist with promoting workshops, events, and community programs

Maintain partnership contact lists and outreach tracking

Attend occasional community events or networking opportunities

Help strengthen Aging Independence Network’s visibility throughout Monterey County

Ideal Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable reaching out to organizations and community leaders

Organized and dependable

Passion for healthy aging, caregiving support, wellness, or community service

Previous experience in community outreach, nonprofit work, customer service, HR, marketing, or business development is helpful but not required.

Time Commitment

Flexible schedule. Approximately 2–5 hours per week.
