This includes maintaining hardware and software systems, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining network security, and providing technical support to employees. Your responsibilities will focus primarily on employee onboarding/offboarding, end-user support, and assisting other IT team members in completing assigned projects. This role is integral to maintaining a seamless IT environment and requires strong technical acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Your Daily Impact:Maintain IT systems, including laptops, workstations, mobile devices, and cloud-based platforms.Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees, efficiently resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including IT equipment setup and deployment, user account creation and deactivation, access permissions, and equipment collection.Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls in compliance with company policies.Assist with implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures.Support software installations, configurations, and upgrades for engineering and business applications.Assist with IT asset inventory, tracking hardware and software resources for efficiency and compliance.Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations for internal reference and training.Assist in IT project execution, including system migrations, integrations, and infrastructure upgrades.What You Bring to the Table:Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.1–2 years of IT support experience, including relevant internships or equivalent hands-on experience.Proficiency in Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, and cloud-based services.Knowledge of network topology, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configuration.Familiarity with workstation configuration, user account management, and IT equipment provisioning.Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, threat prevention strategies, and compliance best practices.Experience troubleshooting various IT issues, from hardware failures to software conflicts.Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently.Effective communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are a plus.Unlock Your Benefits Potential:Paid Time Off: Eight paid holidays annually, with paid time off (PTO) accrual based on role.401K Retirement Plan: Company match of 100% on the first 6% of your salary, with immediate eligibility.Health Insurance: Fully covered for employee-only plans, with the company contributing significantly towards family coverage.Dental and Vision Insurance: Fully covered for employees, with affordable options for family coverage.Life and Disability Insurance: Provided at no cost.Additional Benefits: Health Care Flexible Spending Account, Adoption Assistance, Employee Assistance Program, and Commuter Benefits.Water Works Engineers fosters a supportive environment where your contributions are valued, and your career can thrive.Rewards for Your Expertise:Competitive compensation commensurate with experience, with the potential to earn performance-based bonuses.
